Andrew HUTCHINSON’s key Priorities for DEWSBURY
- No income tax on the lowest paid -
increasing basic allowance to £10,000. Every one benefits by £700 pounds a year in a fully costed re-balancing of the UK tax system . - Protect our Hospital Services.
- Regenerate our town centre.
- Reduce primary school class sizes.
- Continue the successful Warmzone Scheme started by the Lib Dems but soon to be closed by Labour.
- Ensure Dewsbury get a fair share of Kirklees Councils Capital Investment.
- Get Dewsbury a fair share of Kirklees council jobs.
- Ensure the effective policing of Dewsbury & District.
- Protect our Green Belt.
Andrew Hutchinson is a truly local candidate. He was born, raised and educated in Dewsbury, as following many generations of his family.
Andrew Hutchinson completed his education at university in Leeds. He lives in Dewsbury with partner, Rachael. He has four children; the youngest two go to state schools in the constituency.
He and his family use all the local services including, education and health, and regularly use local amenities including the parks, swimming pools and libraries.
Andrew Hutchinson runs a business in Dewsbury and holds senior positions in several local community groups. For example, Andrew Hutchinson is the vice president of our local Chamber of Trade.
Andrew plays an active part in helping to set the scene for the regeneration of Dewsbury.
He wrote a report on what could be done to turn Pioneer house into a place of family-
The Pioneer House leisure development will create many new and permanent jobs for local people in a town of high unemployment.
It will bring in visitors from towns around Dewsbury. The extra shoppers in the town will help boost existing businesses in our town.
